This is undoubtedly one of the most comprehensive cruises available, taking into account both the number of countries visited (seven countries over 12 days) and the different landscapes seen, from Linz all the way to the Danube Delta. One of the high points of the cruise is the journey through the famous Iron Gates, the narrow gorge between the Carpathian and Balkan mountains through which the Danube flows.
