Sicily
Our first stop will be Aci Trezza, a small fishing port known for its basaltic rocks called "Cyclops Rocks". Then you will join the Aci Castello. From the panoramic terrace, you will admire its lava stone castle which seems to want to throw itself into the sea. [...] 4th day: Valletta. The splendid Maltese capital alone justifies a trip; perched on a rocky spur, you will enjoy the astonishing geometry of the streets and its remarkable religious buildings.
Additional activities: route to one of the most famous volcanoes in Europe, Etna. Bus to the Sapienza hut (1,900m), ascent by cable car and then by 4x4 bus to the area called "Tour of the Philosopher". From the ancient and grandiose caldera valle del Bove (3,000m above sea level), you will enjoy a superb panorama of the Mediterranean Sea. Wine tasting.
